BOARD MEETING JULY 10, 1979

ELECTION OF NEW BOARD MEMBERS: David Cronin is not able to attend monthly board meeting on Tuesdays and has left a position open for a board member. Nancy Gardner has been nominated and elected as the new board member.

ROOFS: Unit # 6 and #7 have been contracted to be repaired next week. Nancy Gardner will coordinate the remaining roof repairs.

PAINTING AND REPAIRS:  Walt Headley will be authorized to paint two additional units after he completes previously contracted work.

SPRINKLERS:  Authorization has been given to Paul Phillips to make arrangements to have two areas of the sprinkler system repaired.

POSTMAN: A get-well card will be purchased by the Association and sent to our mail carrier who is afflicted with a long-term illness.

LANDSCAPING:  Michael Peterson and Marie Martel will develop a long range landscaping plan. Damage caused by trees within the homeowner’s easement is the responsibility of the homeowner. This includes roof damage, auto damage, tree clean up and removing of tree remains from the grounds. We had two trees fall this past year. The Eucalyptus trees should be topped.

POOL:  Ms. Coady will be asked to develop a long-range plan for pool maintenance and other aspects of the pool area. Too much sun tanning oil is causing problems with pool maintenance. It is a fact that the pool will have to be replastered if the need for another acid bath is indicated. Please refrain from using tanning oil in the pool.  PLEASE NO GLASS CONTAINERS IN THE POOL AREA.

RAILROAD TIES:  Donna Moore is to obtain more oil to complete the job of painting the railroad ties.

FIRE ZONE: Howard Whitsett will get competitive bids to paint the red line indicating the fire zone. The Fire Department contacted us last week to take action on vehicles parked in the fire zone

ROAD REPAIR:  Donna Moore is to contact APS by letter to correct the improper road repair work done on the south drive, which has left two holes. Three phone calls by Paul Phillips to APS has not obtained any response. (Both holes repaired)

LEASING AND RENT ING: Please note in the CC&Rs, page #4, Section 2.5, that the entire unit may be rented, provided the occupancy is only by the lessee and his family. No rooms may be rented and no transient tenants maybe accommodated.
