SPECIAL
BOARD MEETING
February
12, 1980 7 Present
Byron Linton
submitted a claim for $100. against our insurance deductible for roof damage in
March 1979. After discussion on the probability of the cause of the damage, the
Board decided that it was wind damage, and approved payment of the $100.
The Board
resolved that, in the future, any Homeowner experiencing exterior damage to his
unit MUST have that damage inspected by at least THREE members of the Board for
approval against our insurance BEFORE such damage is repaired. If the Homeowner
neglects to do this, he will be responsible for the entire cost of those
repairs.
Three
insurance bids were submitted and it was unanimously approved to renew our
policy with Oliver Pilcher (Great American) with the low bid of $3142. annual
premium. We are all grateful to Orrin Mitchell for the work he did in getting
these quotes together for us.
There was
extensive discussion regarding the installment of antennas on a couple of our
units. We decided to remind all Homeowners of a clause in our CC&R’s:
(Paragraph 2.7)
“The following items shall NOT be permitted on the property:
(a) Clotheslines
(b) NO OUTSIDE VISABLE ANTENNAS OF ANY TYPE
(c) No
animals, livestock or poultry of any kind shall be raised, bred or kept on any
lot, except that dogs, cats or other household pets may be kept provided that
they are not kept, bred or maintained for any commercial purposes ".
It seems that
several Homeowners do not have copies of our CC&R’s, so Marie Martel (5824)
will soon have copies available to those who request them. All Homeowners (and
tenants) SHOULD know what our rules and regulations are so they can abide by
them.
Nancy Gardner resigned from
the Board. Paul Phillips was elected to replace her.
