HOMEOWNERS' MEETING

November 18, 1980                  11 Present

Treasurer’s Report was given

New owner of 5814 (Rosie O'Meara) submitted plans by contractor for Board approval. She plans to add carport storage units and an upstairs window.

A reminder to all owners: All improvements MUST be submitted and approved to the Board of Directors before the work is begun, if it is visible from outside your walls or if it may affect the safety of the other residents. NO ONE is exempt from this rule according to our C C & R's.

Our new maintenance man attended the meeting and outlined his plans to bring our maintenance problems into a current and manageable level. He plans to do extensive work on the pool to rid it of the algae and grime, to get the shrubbery trimmed and replaced where necessary, and to work

on the brown trim painting. So, if your garage door is one that needs repair work, it is your responsibility to do so before time to paint, and the time is now.

There has been two burglaries in the complex during the past week. All residents should be particularly careful at this time of year for it seems to be more prone to burglaries.

With rising prices and the new sewage tax, it would be advantageous to all of us if we try to conserve our water usage.

It was decided to have the towing company patrol the complex for a 30 day period with authority to tow away any illegally parked vehicles. It is for the safety of every resident in the complex, and anyone is totally within their rights to call and order an illegally parked vehicle towed away at any time. The phone number is 242-5414.

Heating the pool during the holidays was discussed. It was decided to make that decision closer to the holidays when the weather is determined to be suitable or not.

Any equipment, materials, tools, etc. belonging to the Association should be promptly placed in the pool area compound so it is available to the new maintenance man.

The question on railroad ties vs. curbing received poor response. (4 for ties, 6 for curbing). It was decided to shelve the question until next year.

Meeting adjourned at 8:35 pm.
