747 EBHR ASSOCIATION MEETING

DECEMBER 15,1981

OLD BUSINESS

 

1. A written judgment has been agreed to by Unit 2 commencing 12-18-81 with a 10 day grace period for the sum of $130.00· per month, until judgment is paid in full. Half of the $130.00 will be applied to the current month H.O. dues and the other half to­ward the judgment.

2. The south drive has temporarily been repaired by APS. Repairs are not to the liking of the association. Jack Brenner will express our views and request a more conducive repair job by APS. 

3. Unit 7 has agreed to have wooden trim and chimneystack painted at homeowner’s expense.

4. Two competitive bids to remove 6 tree stumps have been submitted at $340.00 and $250.00. The board voted and approved the lowest bid.

5. Paul Phillips and Jack Brenner have been given permission by the board to approve the type of paint to be used for the brown trim. They are to proceed with a painting contract if cost does not exceed $2,000.00.

6. Any garage doors that need repair as a result other than weather damage should be repaired by the first of January.

NEW BUSINESS

 

1. The light pole in front of the complex and pool light poles have rotted and need to be replaced. Since the front light is electrically hooked up to one of the units, the board voted

and approved to hire an electrician to hook up the light to the association meter and replace light poles. Cost is not to exceed $250.00.

 

2. Paul Phillips has been given permission by the board to purchase 3 photoelectric cells for the East drive. The purchase is to be made only if the 3 homeowners, Units 26, 31 & 33 approve utilization of the photocells on their garages.

 

3. Treasurers report year to date was dispensed with until Ruth Brenner can obtain missing information from Heywood Realty to update and make accurate financial status.

Any liens sent to homeowners will be mailed by registered letter with return receipt requested.

4. The board has voted and approved a petty cash fund of $50.00 with the Treasurer of the board to be responsible for the fund.

5. The association is in the process of obtaining insurance bids for 1982. Bids should be presented by the next meeting.

6. Cars parking in fire zone areas will be towed away. The board has approved purchase of another fire sign for the south drive. Any homeowner can call the tow service number, which is located on the sign if there is a violation.

7. The association wishes to congratulate the new board members for 1982.

MISCELLANEOUS

1. Watch out for purse snatchers. One of the homeowners was attacked in the complex the evening of 12-15. 

2. Sprinkler times will be changed to accommodate the winter season.

3. There have been several complaints to the effect that people with pets are not cleaning up after their dogs. People that keep their dogs in their patio have caused complaints of foul odors. Please clean up after your pets in both common areas and private patio areas.
