747 EAST BETHANY HOME ROAD ASSOCIATION

MINUTES OF FEBRUARY 10, 1985, MEETING

 

The meeting was called to order by Bill Kolarik, President, at 7:10 p.m. at Marie Martel's residence, 5824 North 8th Place, Phoenix, Arizona. OTHER MEMBERS PRESENT: Marie Martel, Fred Woodworth, Kathy Kolarik, Loretta Pogreba, Dan Hayes, Andy Levy, Craig King, Paul Phillips, Lynn and Betty Knode.

TREASURER'S REPORT: Loretta Pogreba, treasurer, submitted our monthly report. This report was accepted and placed on file.

OLD BUSINESS

1.    Bids were received for the replacement of the east wall (approximately $4,000), repair of wooden fences (approxi­mately $4,000), and repair of damaged road throughout the complex (approximately $15,000). This repair would consist of a 24-inch wide center concrete drainage gutter & one inch thick asphalt over­lay. It was voted on by the members present, that the repair of our roadway will be our main priority, scheduled for completion by May, 1985. The other two projects will have to be deferred.

2.    We will be changing the Association insurance policy over to Allstate Insurance effective February 22. Please notify your mortgage holder that the Association will be paying this premium directly to Allstate. You will be receiving a copy of this new policy for your records.

3.    The first carport underside has been repaired. More are soon to follow!

NEW BUSINESS

1.    Craig King volunteered to review the 1985 budget.

2.    A $200 special assessment for each unit was approved in order to pay for the repair of the road. This payment is due April 1, 1985. Send your check to 747 EBHRA, P.O. Box 7359, Phoenix, AZ 85011. You will be notified well in advance of the construction dates and parking plan.

3.    The association fees are due by the 10th of each month per our CCRs. A $3.00 fee will be added on if received any later.

4.    If you have any questions concerning the common ground landscaped areas, please write us a note and put it in the mailbox between the pool and driveway. We will be in touch with our gardener and try to help resolve any problems.

 

If you notice any broken sprinklers on common grounds, please notify Fred Woodworth, 5835 N. 8th Place. Remember that water is a major expense.

 

ADJOURNMENT A motion for adjournment was made by Bill Kolarik & seconded by Lynn Knode. The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m. Our next meeting is scheduled for March 9, 1985, at 7:00 p.m.
