After
knocking on several doors, a quorum was obtained to start the meeting.
Walt
gave a brief review of the past year and Cleo reported the five-year plan was
on budget and virtually complete.
A
discussion regarding the color of the common area lamps, mailboxes and screen
and security doors took place. The
creation of an architectural control committee to approve such issues was discussed
but voted down in favor or leaving these decisions up to the Association
membership. Subsequently a ballot was
proposed and approved, (see attached) The ballot must be returned to the above
address no later than with the April dues or sooner if possible.
Monthly
pest control schedu1ing wi11 now be handled through Sherry Mara, Please contact
Sherry if you want this service.
It
was decided to re-lock the rear gate of the complex. If you need access through the gate, simply call any board
member.
Elections
were held! The new members are:

Thanks to Marie and Cleo for all their hard work for the Association this past
year. It’s appreciated.
The meeting
began at 7:00 with the current board members all in attendance, including;
Walter Fedourich, President: Paul Phillips, Vice President: Terrie Roberg. Treasurer; Kathi Kjolhede, Secretary; Sherry Mara, Member at
Large.
Minutes from the
last meeting were reviewed and a discussion ensued regarding the colors to be
allowed for screen and security doors. It was decided to bring the issue to
ballot. (Please see the attached
ballot).
A list of all current occupants and
their phone numbers will be compiled by Kathi by means of a letter. The information to be held confidential by
the board.
Discussion concerning the design and
color of unit 5830's door and window, which is out of compliance with the
CCR'S, will be placed on the pre-mentioned ballot.
Terrie presented the Treasurer's report.
Special thanks to Terrie for her assistance in preparing the income statement,
which has enabled forward movement of the five-year plan. The five-year program was discussed and a
meeting will shortly be scheduled specifically for the completion of the
project. If anyone has any suggestions
regarding both short and long term improvements to the property, please let
them be known to any board member as soon as possible.
The landscaping committee will consist
of Kathi, Luke, Agnes and Jan together with other recruits and volunteers
(that's a hint).
Walt will contact the landscapers for a
bid to trim the Eucalyptus tree in the common area. Certain carports will also be repaired, with Walt contacting the
owners.
Paul will get an estimate for the repair
of the barbecue grills.
The meeting was
adjourned at 9:10 with the next Board meeting scheduled for 7:00 on Tuesday, February
22nd.
