Minutes for Board Meeting of April 1, 1997
Attendees: John Bonar, Betty Knode, Walt Fedourich, Rosie
O'Meara, Agnes Woodworth and Marie Martel
1. The entry sign painting and relocation team will undertake this
project on Saturday, weather permitting.
2. The slurry seal project discrepancies were resolved.
3. Garage slab lowering work will be continued on an as needed
basis.
4. External wood trim replacement demonstration project at 5808 is
running behind schedule. Rosie O'Meara
will try to group this work
into the other project repairs in progress so that a willing contractor can be found..
5. Back gate locking mechanism repair has proved
problematical. The Board voted to put
it back to a dead bolt type, which is more, secure and stable. Therefore, remember, when using the gate, you must use your key to both open and to lock the gate after you go
through.
6. Fire lane road striping is required. Rosie O'Meara has bids and the project will
go on hold for a couple of months until the slurry seal on driveway patches
have been made and cured.
7. The new landscape and pool maintenance work was
discussed. Rosie O'Meara will again
express our concerns to the landscaper.
8. Storage of association materials was again discussed. No one has contacted Rosie O'Meara to report
possession of association tools, equipment, paint, tiles, records, etc. Please contact Rosie O'Meara and give her a
description if you have these things on your premises. (277-7434)
10. John Bonar has
offered to replace dead shrubs & flowers throughout the complex. He needs some volunteer help. Please call him if you are willing to give
him a hand. (264-1070)
11. Does anyone know a
roofer who may want to moonlight to make some minor tile repairs? Please let a board member know if you know
someone.
12. Walt Fedourich will contact 5833 regarding patio cleanup.
13. Rosie O'Meara has bids for spraying olive trees and removal of
crooked pine tree next to 58 t 3.
Work will proceed once
insurance verification is made.

by Walt Fedourich concerning building alterations made in his unit in 1982.
