Minutes for Annual Meeting on January 16, 2000

We had a fairly good turnout for the Weiner Roast and Conviviality Party scheduled ahead of the Annual

Meeting.  Fourteen people attended: Rosie O'Meara, Marie Martel, David Cronin, Mike Smith, Agnes

Woodworth, Don and Rosa Lee Simmons, Audrey and Loren Lake, Nancy Monaco, Patty Banser, Shawna

Davitt, Jan Ehn and Audrey Smith.

1.             Revision of the C C & R's is in progress.  The Board hopes to present the suggested documents to our attorney in the very near future.  In the meantime, if you would like a copy of the working documents, contact Mike Smith (234-1804).  He can supply either a disk or hard copies.

2.             The proposed widening of the Bethany Home driveway is progressing slowly, as dealing with the city usually does.  Don Simmons will keep us up to date.

3.             Financial reports were presented.  We have six owners late paying dues.  After the large outlay for pool area improvements, we are beginning to rebuild our reserve account.  This is necessary so that improvements can be made in the future without necessitating special assessments.

4.                    Solar lighting at the Bethany Home entrance was approved.  Mike Smith will install.  He will also repaint the fire lane striping.

5.                    Nominations for a new Board of Directors were held.  Those elected to the new Board are:

                                                                                         Rosie O'Meara (5814) 277-7434

Mike Smith (5817) 234-1804

Rosa Lee Simmons (747F) 263-1984

Nancy Monaco (5839) 274-5737

Marie Martel (5824) 266-7997

Shawna Davitt (5830) 277-4615

Patty Banser (5826) 650-1134

Agnes Woodworth (5835) 279-7785

The Board elected the following officers:

President-Rosie O'Meara;        Vice President/Treasurer--Mike Smith;         Secretary  -Marie Martel.

ATTENTION, PLEASE...

Parking in the Fire Lanes seems to be an ongoing problem.

The Board has to continually remind residents (and their visitors)

that it is illegal to park between the red painted fire lines.

Please obey the rules.

Attached is an article from the Arizona Republic alerting homeowners'

associations of the seriousness of enforcing the fire lane rules.

Everyone's safety depends upon it!

The next scheduled Board meeting is WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 7 p.m. at the pool.
