Adler, Jeffrey Gabbard, Patty Banser, Nancy Monaco, Marie Martel, Mike Smith,

1. Fire lane markings and signage have been completed
according to the city Fire code, Section
28.16, Please refrain from parking within the fire lanes or
risk being ticketed for the offense by the
Fire or Police Departments. (The fines are STEEP.)
2. The work of moving the sprinkler control box to the
common elements at Nancy Monaco's has been completed except for locating and
wiring in an electrical source. Mike
Smith plans to complete this within the next few days.
2. The water monitoring committee has reported on usage for
landscaping with an excellent report by Michael Ricci. It was determined that approximately 17.832%
may be attributed to landscape watering.
This is below what is considered normal winter usage. They recommended that we change bubblers to
single port emitters (drip system) at a minimal cost, and to re-set controllers
to water shrubs for I hour every other day and grass for 15 minutes per
day. These times may need to be
adjusted according to weather variations.
3. Financial reports were presented. We, have had expenditures this month to
bring the complex up to the fire code (signs and painting) but things look good
for the future.
4. Our insurance has
been changed to Farmers Insurance Group.
The policy has not yet been supplied, but agent business cards have been
provided for your files. If you need a
copy of the policy, contact Steve Meyer at Farmers Insurance (602) 870-0440.
5. The tree behind 5837 has been causing problems to the
roof at 5835. The owner has agreed to
pay for its removal,
6. Our garbage collector has informed us that they are
discontinuing use of hand-collected garbage trucks. Therefore, we will be issued collector cans that can be picked up
and dumped by their newer automated trucks.
This change should take place by Friday, April 27th. Reminder, you MUST KEEP YOUR GARBAGE CAN
INSIDE your garage or patio, They MUST NOT be visible from the common areas.
7.
The CC&Rs and By-Laws changes committee will meet this week for their first review.
8.
The Board approved the placement of a "wishing well" planter in front
of 5820.
9.
An Association Pool Party was discussed so that we can get to know one another
and feel a sense
of
"community." It has been tentatively set for Friday evening, June 15,
6-10 pm. More about this will appear in
next month's minutes.
