Minutes for Board Meeting,
on August 15,2001
Attending-, Rosie O'Meara, Agnes Woodworth, Sherry and
Seymour Adler, Patty Banser, Mike Ricci, Marie Martel, Brian Hanna and David
Cronin
1. The floating pool
cover was investigated by Rosie
O'Meara,. The pool service said that it was not a good idea because they cause
algae to grow underneath it. And he
also said that it is unwise to cut back
on the hours the pool filter runs in
the summer because of use, sun and
chemicals.
2.
Attention: Managers and owners who are renting their units --, Please. provide,
renter’s
name,
home and business phone to Rosie O'Meara (602) 277-7434. Office phone, is needed in case, of
emergency. Home phone is needed to
provide Association information. Numbers will not, be given out-----this is
strictly for Association use.

Financial reports were presented.
Member’s requested month by month expense statements.
Again,
we ask all owners to check their homeowners policies to see if yours covers
special assessments. If not, it seems an inexpensive benefit that You may want to add.
4,.The
breaker on the pool lights keeps tripping.
It was suggested to check the circuit breakers to see of it needs repair
or replacement.
5.
Watering was discussed again. Please,
report any leaks or sprinkler heads that need adjustment
to
Rosie O’Meara at 277-7434. This includes renters who notice problems with sprinklers.
6. Owners who have carports. A license plate was stolen this month. You may want to install motion lights in your carport. Also a matter of information, there were 2 sexual assaults in the apartments next door. Everyone, especially
women,
make sure that your doors and windows are locked. BE AWARE OF YOUR
SURROUNDINGS.
7.
General tree trimming is to be done in late September or early October. Please
let us know if you have something special that needs to be done.
REMINDER
Be sure that the gate to the
pool is securely closed and locked
each and every time you
leave the pool area.
This is a city ordinance. And it is insurance against disaster.
The
next scheduled Board Meeting is
Wednesday, September 19 at 7:00 pm at the pool area.
