Minutes for Board Meeting on July 18, 2001

Attendees: Rosie O'Meara, Patty Banser, Mike Smith, David Cronin, Agnes Woodworth, Rosa Lee Simmons, Marie Martel, Michael Ricci, Nancy Monaco, and Mark Osterbauer.

1. The Board approved the purchase of 26 tons of gravel for fall application throughout the complex.

2. If you would like to read the association's insurance policy from Farmers, contact Rosie O'Meara or Mike Smith.

3. New asphalt roofing for repairs by the air conditioner at 5821 were submitted and approved by

the Board.

4. Financial reports were presented. We are diligently trying to fatten our reserve account to

allow for painting the buildings. It was brought to the Board's attention that SOME homeowners policies cover special assessments. Perhaps we should all take a look at our policies to see if we have that clause. It could help the painting schedule to be accelerated.

5. A "floating" pool cover was suggested in order to conserve on water and pool chemicals. Rosie O'Meara will discuss the feasibility, pros and cons with our pool service man. If further research is necessary, Agnes Woodworth has volunteered to help.

6. Watering was discussed and it was recommended to cut backyard watering to once per day. Rosie will contact the owner at 5837 about water leakage problems which affect owners on each side of that property. Hopefully he will agree to the removal of flower boxes and sod from inside the back patio.

REMINDER

Please remember that the speed limit in the complex is 5 m.p.h.

Since there are no sidewalks, people must walk in the roadways and

there are apt to be children playing in the streets.

We certainly don't want any terrible accidents to happen.

Observe the speed limit and the one-way traffic flow designations.

The next scheduled Board meeting is Wednesday, August 15 at 7:00 p.m. in the pool area.
