Minutes for Board Meeting on May 15,2001

 

Attendees:                Nancy Monaco, Rosa Lee Simmons, Rosie O'Meara, Mike Smith, Agnes Woodworth, David Cronin, Jan Ehn, Marie Martel and Michael Ricci.

 

1. The sprinkler control box has been moved to the common elements at Nancy Monaco's .  She requested to have control in an emergency.  The Association must control the watering times and durations.

 

2. Palm tree trimming time is almost here (Early June).  If you have a palm tree inside your patio area that needs trimming, contact Rosie O'Meara (277-7434).  She will have the tree man submit an estimate for each "inside" tree and each homeowner will be advised of the cost.

 

3. The water bills continue to mount.  Mike Smith has offered to repair any leaking hose bibs, toilets or faucets for only the cost of parts.  If you have a plumbing problem that needs attention, contact Mike at 234-1804.  We need to keep ahead of all possible water leaks to conserve.

 

4. Financial reports were presented.  We have two delinquent homeowners who have been contacted and they expect to bring their accounts current by the end of the month.

 

5. The tree behind 5837 has been removed.  A tree leaning on the roof at 5801 will be trimmed back.

 

6.You MUST KEEP YOUR GARBAGE CAN INSIDE your garage or patio.  They MUST NOT be visible from the common areas.  Cans may NOT be parked in carports.  If you cannot find a place inside for your trash can, contact Mike Smith about the possibility of erecting a gate or baffle to hide it.

 

7. More gravel is needed around the complex.  Michael Ricci will bring samples of Palomino Gold to the next meeting so we can evaluate the type we need to buy.

 

8. The Association Pool Party was discussed.  The date is set for Friday evening, June 15, 6- 10 p.m. You will receive a flyer a few days before to give more details.  Please try to come and get to meet and socialize with your neighbors.

 

 

 

 

REMINDER

Mark your calendar for June 15th.

It's the Association Pool Party for all residents.

We'd love to have a large turnout so we can all get to know one another.
