Minutes for Board
Meeting of April 24, 2002
Attendees:
Marie Martel, Michael Ricci, Nancy Monaco, Walt Fedourich, Betty Kizer, Karen
Root, Brian Hanna, Patty Banser, Sherry and Seymour Adler, Kristen and Jason
Retter, Paul Phillips and Rosa Lee Simmons.
- Michael Ricci reported
that no one has reported water pressure problems since the cutoff of the
1-1/2” valve. It was suggested to read the meter for one month to
determine usage and then to get quotes from a licensed plumber to detach
the crossover pipe. He would apply for a city inspection that would assure
that we will not be charged sewer assessments for landscape only water.
- Michael Ricci will
consult with Jan Ehn about the landscaping of the west wall. Everyone agreed that this project needs
to be expedited.
- Painting was discussed.
Board is open to suggestions for colors. Rosie is still requesting bids
and references.
- Financial reports were
presented. We have one homeowner
with dues delinquent.
- Brian Hanna has
contacted the County Recorder’s office about our CC&R’s amendments.
Their records have been archived and it will take some time to get copies.
In the meantime, we need to get going on updating our CC&R’s. If you
would like to make suggestions, you can get a copy from our website and
write in suggestions for the Board. Rosie O’Meara will set up another
review meeting when she returns from her trip.
- Karen Root will contact
the tree man to spray olive trees this week.
- Marie Martel will
arrange a Block Watch presentation by the Police Department. Advance
notices will be sent and we urge ALL residents to attend.
- If you want to order
Cox Cable, contact Paul Phillips at 279-5287.
- The Association will
give the landscaper a letter of permission to park his vehicle near the
entrance, in case he should be approached for a parking offense.
Notices
Please do not
speed through our streets.
The streets are narrow and the corners are blind, which invites
potential accidents
if you drive fast. PLEASE SLOW DOWN!
It was suggested that everyone clean up in front of their units.
Hose down your
garage doors, place garbage cans and storage items INSIDE of your garage or
patio.
The next scheduled
board meeting is Wednesday, May 15 at 7PM in the pool area.
