Board Meeting Minutes

At 7:05 P.M. the meeting was
called to order.
Reading of Minutes:
The minutes of the 747 East
Bethany Home Road Homeowners Association Board meeting held on June 19, 2002
were reviewed.
Treasurer’s Report:
Treasurer Kari Root
presented the Treasurer's report.
Old Business:
The plumbing crossover estimate was discussed and pending Kari’s call to the city to reclassify the meter, Apache Plumbing will do the crossover. Walt will make sure the price will include permits and inspections.
The June Block watch meeting was a huge success and another one is planned for September. Kari will be calling homeowners in the near future to remind them to fill out the Block watch form so she may have these for our HOA records.
The Architectural committee
has completed its walk through. Letters
will be distributed to homeowners regarding necessary repairs within 30
days. The deadline for repairs is
October 1, 2002. A walk through by the
committee will be on October 19, 2002 to follow up on repairs.
New Business:
The Board decided that
multiple bids will be obtained for any major projects. The expense must be approved by the Board if
the expenditure is $500 or more.
Approval by two Board members is sufficient if the expenditure is under
$500.
Thanks to Jan Ehn, Walt
Fedourich and Mike Ricci for their work on the landscaping project of the west
wall.
Don Simmons 602 263 1984 may
be contacted by homeowners regarding the correct placement of cable television
and internet wire by Cox Communications.
A list of Contractors will
be compiled and posted on 747EBHRA.com. Please email the webmaster or contact a
Board Member with your referral suggestions.
It was decided that
homeowners may replace their porch light with fixtures of their own choice as
long as they are aesthetically pleasing.
Two new umbrellas will be purchased
to replace aging umbrellas at the pool.
After the monsoon storm this
past Sunday, this is a reminder to people to keep debris clear of drainage
blocks in backyards so the water may drain properly.

in phone and email contact information to Marie Martel.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 P.M. The next scheduled Board meeting is 7:00P.M. Wednesday, August 21, 2002 at the pool.
