Minutes for
Board Meeting on May 15, 2002
Attendees: Marie Martel, Michael Ricci, Nancy Monaco, Walt
Fedourich, Kari Root, Rosa Lee Simmons, David Cronin and Paul Phillips.
1. Kari Root will get at least 3 bids from licensed plumbers to detach
the cross-over to our landscape water meter.
That plumber will obtain proper permits and city inspections so that we
can eliminate the second sewer assessment we now pay.
2. The olive trees have been sprayed.
Palm trees are due for trimming by early June. If you have a palm tree in your yard that needs trimming, it can
be done at the same time and will save you money. Contact Walt Fedourich (266-5581) to make arrangements.
3. Kari will move any excess monies collected to our savings account
to build up the reserves for painting and major improvements.
4 Financial reports were
presented. All dues are up to
date. Thanks to Kari for her
persistence.
5. An Architectural
Committee was reenacted to tour the complex on a regular basis looking for
needed repairs, landscaping
that needs attention, rules infractions by residents, etc. The first tour will be on Saturday,
June 1 at 8 a.m. starting at
Kari Root's house (5802). The committee
is Kari Root, Michael Ricci, Walt Fedourich and
Marie Martel. Feel free to join us or to volunteer for
minor "fixes" that are found needing attention.
6. The Board approved the
purchase of bulbs for public lighting and a wheelbarrow (which will
be stored in the pool locker
area.
7. It was suggested that
Rosie O'Meara keep a list of reliable vendors (plumbers, electricians,
handymen, painters, etc.)
and make that list available to interested homeowners.
8. If you are feeding the
birds, please stop. It is attracting
pigeons and they are a big nuisance.
9. There were 2 attempts to
steal vehicles reported (5811) and a stolen bicycle reported (5809).
See notice below for help
and suggestions in how to avoid these crimes.

Wednesday, June 19 at 7 p.m.

This is important to
EVERYONE living in the complex.
