Minutes for Board Meeting on September 18,2002

Attendees: Kari Root, Michael Ricci, Jan Ehn, Marie Martel, Walt Fedourich, Brian Hanna, David Cronin, Rosa Lee Simmons, Betty Kizer and Nancy Monaco.

1. The plumbing for water meter separations has not yet been inspected. Michael Ricci will attempt to resolve this issue so that we are not billed for sewer charges on the disconnected landscape meter.

2. Landscaping along the west wall is completed. It looks great and we all thank Jan Ehn, Michael Ricci and Walt Fedourich.

3. Kari Root presented financial statements. Two owners are delinquent with dues.

4. The Architectural Committee is scheduled for another walk-through inspection on Sat, October 19th at 8:00 a.m. The group will meet at Kari Root's (5802). Anyone interested is welcome to join the tour.

5. Don't forget our Pot Luck Lunch for Sunday, October 20th at 11:00 a.m.. Please call Patty Banser at 650-1134 to volunteer your special dish. She will coordinate the menu. Hot dogs, burgers and buns will be provided. Two Block Watch speakers are scheduled to make presentations. So mark your calendars and plan to attend. Let's get to know our neighbors!

6. The Board reiterated the rule regarding trashcans. Trash containers must be kept inside garages or patios. Carports are NOT acceptable because the containers are visible from the common areas.

7. The wrought iron gate at the south end of the complex has rusted through. Walt Fedourich and David Cronin have put a temporary fix on it. Brian Hanna has offered to get quotes to replace the fence with style options. He has also offered our complex as a lighting design project (free of charge) to architectural students at ASU.

8. Complaints were voiced against the 3 sales signs at 5830. Only one sign per unit is allowed.

Don't forget to reserve Sunday afternoon on October 20th for a fun, informative get-together with your neighbors. The festivities will begin at 11:00 a.m. If you'd like to offer a prepared dish for the buffet, call Patty Banser at 650-1134.
