East Bethany Home Road Association
Attendees: Walt Fedourich, Marie Martel, Kari Root, Jan
Ehn, Betty Kizer, Kristen Retter, Nancy Monaco, Rosa Lee & Jana Simmons,
Michael Ricci, Patty Banser and Rosie O'Meara.
1. Kari Root reported on our financials. There are five
owners delinquent with dues. Please remember that a late charge of $15 is levied on dues paid after the tenth of
the month and our Association rules call for a lien to be filed against the
property of any owner after the third month of missed dues.
Kari has filed the Association state and federal tax
returns for 2002.
2. A new
lock has been installed on the pedestrian gate at the south end of the complex.
If you normally use that entrance and need a key, contact Walt Fedourich at
266-5581.
3. Work
on re-landscaping the east wall is continuing. A work crew is being recruited
for Saturday, March 22nd at about 8 a.m., weather permitting. There is still a
lot to do. If you'd like to help, show up with your work clothes on!
4.There have been parking problems reported AGAIN. The fire
truck (EMT) was unable to get through this past month for an illness call. If
you or your guests/workmen park in the fire lane, you are subject to be
ticketed by the City.
If you or
your visitors/workmen need to park in front of someone's garage, PLEASE be
considerate enough to ask permission or at least put a note on the car saying
where you are visiting. One owner couldn't leave for an appointment this month
because of a car parked in the driveway in front of the garage door. Please
make sure you and your visitors show some common decency when parking is a
problem for you.
Volunteers needed for more work on the east wall re-landscaping project. We need painters, diggers and clean-up people. Show up on Saturday the 22nd at 8 a.m.
(if it's not raining)
The next scheduled board
meeting is Wednesday, April 16 at 7:00 p.m. in the pool area.
