Minutes for Board Meeting on May 21, 2003

Attendees: Walt Fedourich, Marie Martel, Kari Root, Kristen Retter, Rosa Lee Simmons, Michael Ricci, Jan Ehn and David Cronin.

1. Kari Root reported on our financials. There are three owners delinquent with dues. Kari researched electronic dues payment and suggests that you set this up with your own bank or title company. Service fees will apply. The same applies to those who may want to pay dues via Internet.

2. Work on landscaping along the east wall is progressing. Volunteer residents are making this happen while saving the Association lots of money. We wish to thank those volunteers: Rosa Lee and Don Simmons, Michael Ricci, Walt Fedourich, Jan Ehn, Patty Banser, Marie Martel, William Calvo, Robin Shearer, Jason and Kristen Retter. Giving of time and talents for the good of our Association is one of the ways to make this a great place to live.

3. A section of sidewalk at 5804 has been repaired and a new landscaping timer was installed at 5809. Work is underway to repair a waterline leak near 5815.

4. If you notice a leak or broken sprinkler head, please report it to a Board member so the land­scaping water can be turned off.

5. Palm trees are scheduled to be trimmed early in June. The Board has been approached about the stability of a tree at 5814. Investigation will follow.

6. Kristen and Jason Retter are pursuing the purchase of pool chairs and umbrellas.

7. Salt River Project has a rebate plan to compensate APS customers for differences paid for electricity in certain areas. Our complex falls in one of these areas. If you wish to apply, you will need to submit an Application for Compensation form. You may request this form by calling (602) 236-8888. Applications must be postmarked by June 2, 2003.
