Minutes for Board Meeting on October 15, 2003

 

Attendees: Walt Fedourich, Jan Ehn, Marie Martel, Kari Root, Nancy Monaco, Kristen Retter, Michael Ricci, Patty Banser, Agnes Woodworth and Rosa Lee, Don and Jana Simmons.

 

  1. Kari Root reported that there is only one owner delinquent with dues.

 

  1. Paul Phillips has not provided written proof that his termite extermination work has been completed (for bookkeeping purposes). Kari will contact him by phone.

 

  1. Landscaping committee and volunteers will be replacing needed plants along the east wall the first part of November. THANKS to Don Simmons who has replaced leaking sprinkler fittings. It is selfless acts like these that help our association hold down maintenance costs.

 

  1. There has been some misunderstandings with the landscaper about trimming. Mike Ricci and Jan Ehn, of our Landscape Committee plan to do a walk through with him to explain our “concept” in order to give him guidance. (Tentatively planned for October 25th)

 

  1. Walt has not been able to get any satisfaction from Shasta Pools regarding the cracks in the pool decking. It was decided that he will obtain a repair kit from them so that we can attempt to make repairs ourselves.

 

  1. Agnes Woodworth (5835) reported that the ceiling of her front porch needs to be replaced. Bids will be taken for the project.

 

Anyone noticing sagging of ceilings under porches or carports, please notify a Board member. Remember, however, that if a roof leak has caused the problem, the owner must be sure that roof repairs are completed before any ceiling work can be addressed.

 

  1. Your Help is Needed! We need a crew to help repaint the fire lanes and curbing.  The project is planned for

      November 15th at 8:00 a.m. (meet near the pool). The Association will supply the materials.

 

 

NOTICE

 

There have been complaints about people parking so that

residents can’t get out of their carports or garages.

 Please show consideration by not blocking your neighbor’s access

 

The next scheduled Board meeting is Wednesday, November 19th at 7:00 p.m. in the pool area.
