Minutes for Board Meeting on February 18, 2004

Attendees: Walt Fedourich, Marie Martel, Michael Ricci, Nancy Monaco, Patty Banser, Jan Ehn and William Calvo

1. Kari Root reported that there is one owner delinquent with dues. It was decided to move $2000 into our savings account We are slowly but surely accumulating a reserve fund for painting the complex.

2. Don Simmons was absent and did not provide the Cox telephone comparison figures. If you have an interest in this potential service, call him at 602-694-1653.

3. Michael Ricci plans to obtain plantings to replace some on the East wall. Jan Ehn will collaborate and suggest spots for boulders. Also new plants for 5806 will soon be going in.

4. The painting of the fire lanes and curbs project has run into a snag. Scheduling volunteers for the same day to work is a problem, so the work will be done on an impromptu basis and will be headed up by three people: Patty Banser (650-1134), Walt Fedourich (266-5581) and Jan Ehn (263-9774). If you would like to help, please call these team leaders to be put on their call list.

5. The subject of door repairs and upkeep was again raised. Doors are the responsibility of each owner (including the framing of the doors). When the building painting is done, all exterior surfaces will probably be painted. In the meantime, each owner is responsible to keep his doors in good condition.

REMINDER

Please remember to put your garbage cans out no sooner than the night before pickup, which is on Mondays and Thursdays. And please be sure to take your containers in and stow them inside your garage or patio on the pickup day. Thank You.
