Minutes for Board Meeting on March 17,2004

Attendees: Jan Ehn, David Cronin, Walt Fedourich, Marie Martel, Michael Ricci, Patty Banser, Kristen Retter and Sherry Adler

1. Kari Root reported that there are three owners delinquent with dues.

2. Don Simmons was absent but if you are interested in Cox telephone service, call him at 602-694-1653.

3. Michael Ricci and Jan Ehn will collaborate on planning for the refinement of plantings along the east wall. Work to begin very soon. Also replacement hibiscus to be planted at 5806.

4. The painting of the fire lanes and curbs has been completed except for second coat in some areas. Thanks to volunteers: Jan Ehn, Michael Ricci, Walt Fedourich, Patty Banser, Marie Martel, Kristen Retter and Robin Shearer.

5. If you plan to order new cable service, please contact Paul Phillips at 279-5287. He is the Association coordinator to ensure that installations are made in an aesthetically pleasing manner.

6. New owner at 5810, David Flatgard, wants to install an extra door panel in the back of his unit. Board approved contingent on structural conformation and safety.

7. The pool gate needs to open out, according to new city laws. Walt Fedourich and Michael Ricci are trying to locate a contractor to make the change.

8. To owners who have fireplaces: It has been noted that some of the fire caps have rusted, which creates a fire hazard. Now is a good time to call a chimney sweep to clean your chimney and give you a safety check.

There have been strangers wandering within the complex lately.

Please be vigilant about noticing strangers.

And remember to keep your doors, windows and gates locked.
