Minutes for Board Meeting on August 24, 2005

Attendees: Walt Fedourich, Marie Martel, Jan Ehn, Michael Ricci, Kari Root, Patty Banser and Nancy Monaco

1. Kari Root presented the Treasurer’s report. She reported that there are two owners delinquent with dues. The Board voted to move $1500. to our savings account which is earmarked for our painting project.

2. The new building color will be Stonish Beige (eggshell finish) and trim color will be Crete (semi-gloss) all from Dunn Edwards. Mike Ricci and Walt Fedourich performed a walk-thru to assess needed wood repairs/replacements that need to be done ahead of painting the front 10 units. It was decided that anyone having slat shade overhangs will be given the option of replacing them themselves; otherwise they will be removed. A handyman will be hired to make several needed repairs. Next, we need to obtain painting estimates.

3. Two large pine trees were removed near 5814. They were deemed to be hazardous to wind­storm damage. New trees will be planted when the weather is suitable.

4. A new outward pulling pool gate has been installed as per request by City officials. And Patty Banser has obtained a CPR instruction poster which is installed in the pool area.

5. It was noted that there should be a reserve key for the Association mailbox. Kari will purchase and give to Walt for emergency use.

6. NOTICE: One of the workers of Trees By Mike lost his cell phone while working on our property. If you should find it, please notify Walt Fedourich (266-5581) and he will arrange its return to the owner.

7. Please be aware that if you overwater or have a plumbing leak that affects a neighbor's prop­erty, YOU are responsible for any damages.

NOTICE

There are still way too many automobiles exceeding the speed limit in the complex. There are many blind corners and occasionally someone goes the wrong way on our one way streets. If you speed through here, you may be caught unaware.

Our speed limit within the complex is 5 m.p.h.

The next scheduled Board meeting is Wednesday, September 21st at 7:00 p.m. in the pool area.
