Minutes for Board Meeting on July 20, 2005
Attendees: Walt Fedourich, Marie Martel, Jan Ehn, Michael
Ricci, Kari Root, Patty Banser, David Cronin and Agnes Woodworth
1. Kari
Root presented the Treasurer's report. She reported that there is one owner
delinquent with dues. Kari requested that we remind owners put their address
number on the memo line of all dues checks.
2. Landscaping gravel has arrived along with the heat wave.
3. A poll
was conducted to assess paint colors for the complex. There were 21 votes for
the suggested colors; 2 votes against; 1 voted neutral and 14 no replies. So as
the majority rules, the new building color will be Stonish Beige (eggshell
finish) and trim color will be Crete (semi-gloss). Next, we need to obtain
painting estimates. It was decided that our volunteers could paint perimeter
walls. Mike Ricci and Walt Fedourich will do a walk-thru to assess needed wood
repairs/replacements that need to be done ahead of painting.
4. Two
large pine trees near 5814 will be removed and replaced at a later date with
smaller, less aggressive growing trees and new plants.
5. Walt
Fedourich purchased 8 new pool chairs for the pool area. Please take good care
of them. Patty Banser will pick up a CPR instruction poster this week for the
pool area.
Walt has obtained a quote of $778. to replace our pool gate
to an open-out conformation as requested by the City and to replace some
rusting pool fence. The Board approved.
6. With
the monsoon season upon us, we all need to try to keep dried leaves, pine
needles, papers, etc. cleaned out of our driveways and carports. They are
sometimes a fire hazard when someone parks over them with a hot catalytic
converter.
7. Please be aware
that if you over water or have a plumbing leak that affects a neighbor's property,
YOU are responsible for any damages. Not arranging for prompt repairs is called
negligence and is NOT covered by the Association
8. Walt Fedourich
plans to be visiting all center units, during the next few weeks, to inspect for drainage problems in back
yards.
We have a new Farmers Insurance agent.
