Minutes for Board Meeting on May 18, 2005

Attendees: Walt Fedourich, Marie Martel, Jan Ehn, David Cronin, Michael Ricci, Kari Root, Patty Banser and Sherry Adler

1. Kari Root presented the Treasurer's report. She reported that there are FOUR owners delin­quent with dues. Remember, when dues are not paid before the 10th of the month, a $15. late fee will be assessed.

2. Our insurance premiums to Farmers Insurance were raised because of wide-spread claims of mold damage. Kari will inquire as to the savings if we were to increase our deductible to $1000. Also she will get quotes on quarterly, semi-annually and annual premiums to see if we can lower our premiums.

3. Jan Ehn and Michael Ricci will continue the landscaping for the small plot between 5815 and 5818.

4. More Dunn Edwards paint chips were reviewed to select a new trim color. It has been the consensus of owners to date to paint the balconies Crete (to match the buildings) and use a new trim color sparingly. Test colors will be applied and announced for a vote by homeowners.

Our association has a discount at Dunn-Edwards for paint, so if any of you wish to buy paint, give the clerks our account number, which is 223045-000 747EBHRA.

5. Walt Fedourich is arranging to have the pool gate reversed to open out at the request of the Arizona Department of Health.

6. Patty Banser will procure a CPR instruction poster for the pool wall.

7. Board members will check out places/prices to replace pool area chairs and report at next meeting.

8. Walt Fedourich will arrange for palm tree trimming soon. If you have one inside your patio and wish to have it trimmed, call Walt at 266-5581.

NOTICE

Remember, The pool gate should always be closed and locked.

NO child under 16 is allowed in the pool area without an adult and children should always be watched when in the pool area.  Pets are not allowed in the Pool area

The next scheduled Board meeting is Wednesday, June 15th at 7:00 p.m. in the pool area.
