Minutes for Board Meeting on June 21, 2006

 

Attendees were: David Cronin, Jan Ehn, Kari Root, Nancy Monaco, Walt Fedourich, Marie Martel, Ron Carpio, Michael Ricci and John Bonar

 

1. The Treasurer's report was presented. There are three owners late with dues and assessment payments.

 

2. Balloting results were reported on the south fence and landscaping. 20 votes for stuccoed, painted block wall vs. 13 for wrought iron. 20 votes for desert landscaping vs. 7 for grass lawn.

 

Michael Ricci will get firm estimates for the block wall construction and Walt Fedourich will get firm quotes for the gates. Landscaping will follow this construction when weather is suitable for planting.

 

3. A bill was submitted by Mike O'Meara for $105. for stucco repairs at 5814 that were necessary before the building was painted. The Board approved it for payment.

 

4. Our pool service company has decided to go into construction and repair business and has recommended Valley Pool Service to continue our pool work. The Board decided to give them a try.

 

The County Health Department inspected our pool and has ordered us to install an anti vortex cover on the main drain. This is a safety issue to keep swimmer's hair from being sucked into the drain. Valley Pool will arrange for the installation.

 

5. The results of the walk through inspection were reported. You have probably already received an e‑mail of the results and a list of fixes that must be made. We hope that you will cooperate quickly  if your address is on the "Required Attention" list. The walk through inspections will be done again soon.

 

6. Eugene Morin submitted a plan for a new door and security door which was approved by the Board.

ANY PLANTING THAT YOU PLAN TO MAKE THAT IS,

OR WILL BE HIGHER THAN THE WALLS, MUST BE

SUBMITTED AND APPROVED IN ADVANCE BY THE BOARD.

 

The next scheduled Board meeting is Wednesday, July 19th at 7:00 p.m. in the pool area.
