1. The Treasurer’s report was
presented. There are five owners late with dues and assessment payments. Please
try to keep current to avoid late payment fines.
2. Construction of the walls at the
south entrance is completed. The wrought iron gates are being made and will be
installed soon. Stucco will be applied after the gates are in and painting will
follow. After that, the desert landscaping will go in with a drip watering
system.
3. The committee
meeting to draft a budget and reserve account was cancelled due to illness. It
has been tentatively rescheduled for Sat. Oct. 28th. Committee
members are: Walt Fedourich, John Bonar, Eugene Morin, David Cronin and Paul
Phillips.
4. A discussion regarding the fragility of our
landscaping water lines resulted in the suggestion that perhaps the high water
pressure here contributes to the frequent leaks we incur. It was decided that a
pressure reduction valve should be installed on the main line. Walt Fedourich
has contacted a plumber and received an estimate of $650. Michael Ricci will
get a competing bid.
5. The regrout of the pool tiles has
been completed. Also a diver has installed an anti-vortex cover on the pool
drain as required by a new ordinance.
6. Thanks to David Cronin who
has purchased and erected two new one-way signs.
7. Current CC&R
infractions and applicable fines were addressed.
NOTICE
Please be more aware of intruders and unusual traffic while our south
gate is missing.
The next scheduled Board meeting is Wednesday, November 15th at 7:00 p.m. in the pool area.
