Minutes for Board Meeting on June 20, 2007

 

Attendees were: Walt Fedourich, Marie Martel, Patty Banser, Nancy Monaco, Eugene Morin, Jan Ehn, John Bonar and Jessica Baronas.

 

1. The Treasurer's report was presented. There are SEVEN owners late with dues and/or late charges. THREE of them face having LIENS along with the associated costs charged against their homes unless they bring their accounts up to date IMMEDIATELY.

 

2. We regret to announce the untimely death of longtime owner, David Cronin on June 4, 2007. He was an active member of our Board and he will be sorely missed. The Board has approved a memorial contribu­tion of $50. to his favorite charity, St. Vincent de Paul Food Program.

 

3. Insurance policy bids are still being sought. It appears that all proposals so far are very close in costs

.

4. John Bonar has volunteered to solicit bids for replacing the south gates. There have been many concerns about the extra traffic coming through the complex since the south entrance has been without a barrier. We are grateful for John's offer.

 

5. The Maricopa Health Department has ordered us to make several changes to our pool area.Walt Fedourich will follow up on these new rules.

 

6. The Board has removed two Board members who have missed three or more consecutive Board meetings. This is not a personal action. It is a practical solution for maintaining a quorum so that we can conduct Association business at our Board meetings. If any of these removed members wish to be reinstated to the Board, they will simply agree to attend the meetings and apply for reinstatement.

and removing it from the street the same day as the collection.
