Minutes for Board
Meeting on May 16, 2007
Attendees were: Walt Fedourich, David Cronin, Marie Martel,
Patty Banser, Nancy Monaco, Jan Ehn, Ron Carpio and Nerijus Baronas.
- The
Treasurer's report was presented. There are three owners late with dues
and/or late charges. Two are very near to having liens put on their homes.
- Hazard
Insurance policy bids are still being sought. We obtained another quote
which was slightly lower but they only have a $2500 deductible available. We
currently have a $1000 deductible.
- The
new south wall has been painted at a cost of $750. The painter also did
some other touch-ups left over from last years painting of the complex.
- John
Bonar has notified the paving contractors he has been working with, that
we are not ready to pave or slurry seal at the present time, since it
hinges on the completion of the new water lines.
- The
Board has the purchased 6 new lounge chairs for the pool area at a cost of
$150.
- An
underground water leak in the roadway in front of 5805 has been repaired.
- The
Board approved palm tree trimming contracts. If you have palm trees in
your yard that you would like to get trimmed at the same time, (sometime
early in June), give Walt a call at 602 463 9347. The cost of trimming a
fan palm is $45.00 and a queen palm is $30.00. The queen palms will also
have the crown treated with medicine to help fight “crown rot”.
- One
Association Member submitted a plan to build a sandbox/toilet area on the
south lawn for your pets use. The pet’s owners would be responsible for
cleaning the sand and the hosing of the general area. The Board did not
approve this request.
- There
have been sightings of painted rocks popping up around the complex. Does
anyone know whom the credit belongs to?
NOTICE
There are a few
homeowners leaving their trashcans out in their carports. Trashcans need to be
stored inside your yards. There are also a few residents using their balconies
for storage. If the above items are not corrected fines will be assessed.
The next scheduled
Board meeting is Wednesday, June 20th at 7:00 p.m. in the pool area.
