Minutes for Board Meeting on November 14, 2007

Attendees were: Walt Fedourich, Marie Martel, Eugene Morin, Patty Banser, Nancy Monaco, John Bonar, Jan Ehn and, Paul Phillips

1. The Treasurer's report was presented and approved. There are five owners still late with dues and/or late charges.

2. John Bonar reported that the posts for the south gate have been installed. The new gate will follow shortly.

3.The south lawn desert landscaping has been completed. Thanks to the hard work of John Bonar and Jan Ehn who facilitated the cleanup and gravel spreading.

4. We are sorry to report the passing of longtime owner Judy Farmer's son Zack last month.

5. Pool chair replacement was tabled until after the holidays. Repairs proved to be too expensive.

6. We recently had a water problem in the back yards of the south end. Homeowners beware ... If you plan digging in the yard, you must notify the Board beforehand.

If you should-need water removal from your home, Riteway Carpet Cleaning has been highly recommended.

7. Latest repairs completed: Post light at 5822, New pool lock and keys, grab bars and piping.

8.Christmas luminarias were approved for next month. If you'd like to help assemble them, meet at Nancy Monaco's garage (5839) on Sunday, December 23rd at 9 a.m

9. It is getting the time of the year when people are opening windows and doors to enjoy the weather. If you have a dog, please do not let it bark excessively in your back yards and please keep any dog droppings cleaned up.

North Phoenix Baptist Church (Central & Bethany Home)

Nov. 15, 16, 17 ... 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Acceptable Items Include:

· antifreeze, paint, oil, car batteries

· brake, transmission, power steering fluids/degreasers

· varnish, turpentine, linseed oil, solvents, adhesives

· pesticides and herbicides

· Freon based refrigerators, freezers, water coolers, air conditioners, heat pumps

· computers, electronics

· washers, dryers, water heaters, stoves, dishwashers, televisions

· tires ( a maximum of 5 tires per resident)

IMPORTANT CHANGE TO NOTE: Because Christmas would fall a few days after our regularly scheduled Board Meeting, it has been moved ahead one week,

The next scheduled Board meeting is Wednesday, December 12th at 7:00 p.m. in the pool area.
