The
paperwork for obtaining financing approval from the V.A. has been submitted to
them. Total cost to date is $250. We expect approval around the end of July.
FHA will be contacted in the meantime to find out if we'll need additional
documentation for their approval.
The
need for a special assessment was discussed. This would be for the initial
sealing of the new driveway asphalt ($4000), correcting faulty Electrical
driveway lights ($500). and fixing portions of the pool fence ($500). It was
proposed and unanimously approved that a
$150 special assessment be due by September 1 to cover the cost of these items.
A
request to increase the dues late fee, institute a lien filing fee, and define
the time duration between lien updates was discussed. Marie Martel will
research the CCR/Bylaw amendments required to do so.
Several
residents have complained about certain teenage boys who have become a nuisance
at the pool. it was decided to write a letter to their father requesting his
assistance in keeping them under control.
Window
awnings were discussed. Marie Martel will research styles, colors, and the
CCR/Bylaw amendments required, as to develop a standard for the complex.
Wooden
fences were discussed. Craig King will research the construction as to insure a
standard for the complex. Homeowners must obtain Board approval before
construction if they want reimbursement.
Concern
was raised about the safety of a dead tree in the back yard of 5817. A letter
will be written to the owner to request its removal.
There
have been several burglaries in the complex in the last several months.
Everyone should be on the lookout and call the Police at 9‑1‑1 if
they see suspicious people.
Mom
Sheeham will update us on a 747 EBHRA satellite dish next meeting.
Lynn
Knode will have signs replaced and/or repaired by the next meeting.
