REPORT TO HOMEOWNERS OF 747 EBHRA BOARD OF DIRECTORS

MEETING ‑JUNE 21, 1988

1.  Bids were sent out to solicit bids for landscape planning. The only interested Landscape Architect was awarded the contract for $1500. basic planning per proposal. Work will begin on the blueprints so that we are ready for site work when the assessments are paid. REMEMBER, YOUR SPECIAL ASSESSMENT OF $300. IS DUE AND PAYABLE NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 1, 1988.

2.  Our Landscape/maintenance man, Bert, attended the meeting and reported on his activities within our complex. Work is being done to bring the sprinkler system up to par. Four new timers are required, which Bert will purchase as soon as they go on sale, (expected within two weeks). Price approx. $68. each

The pool is requiring extra cleaning due to the palm trees dropping their debris. Bert will look into finding someone to trim palm at a reasonable cost. Individuals who have palms inside their patios can make arrangements to have their trees trimmed at the same time, at their expense, by notifying Marie Martel (5824) or Lynn Knode (5803). The expected price is $18‑20/tree.

It was requested that Bert clean and make necessary repairs on the post lights and those garage lights that are on solenoids. It was also approved that he order and replace the lantern glass panes with pebbled (frosted) glass. This glass will cost $208.79.

NOTICE: Bert has found a gold watch in the pool area. If you have lost one, call 944‑4106 and identify.

3.  A bulletin board was discussed for the pool area to post notices, schedules for exterminating, tree trimming, etc. Prices are being investigated.

4.  The Treasurer's report showed that all accounts are current except DeFrane (repossession) and Edwards (bankruptcy).

Some people have begun to pay installments on their assessment. If you prefer to do it this way, it is perfectly acceptable. Just make sure to identify your intentions on your check.

5. A letter was discussed from the owner at 5805 re a hole in the stucco near the foundation. Bert has investigated the complaint and reported that it appears to have been caused by settling. He will make the repairs.

6.  Other subject discussed were: painting (not in this year's budget, replacing garage doors (not in this year's budget, the entrance light being on a separate meter Lynn will ask Bert if he can wire to the pool's meter). We all are grateful for Lynn Knode's efforts in having that awful traffic sign moved to the property line (it WAS right next to our driveway).

Next exterminating treatment will be Saturday, July 9 between noon and 2 pm.

If you are interested, contact Marie Martel (266‑7997) The price is $7.00

Will all residents PLEASE keep trashcans INSIDE of the patio or garage‑‑OUT of SIGHT‑‑‑except at time of collection? If you have a tenant, will you please pass this request along to them? It has become a real eyesore lately. Thanks.
