747 EBHRA Board Meeting November 15, 1988

1.       Discussed landscaping progress. Bethany Home Road entrance landscaping should be completed by December 1. Eucalyptus tree trimming will be done ASAP. Tree removals in phase one are completed.

Landscape architect plans have experienced minor changes as work progressed. Discussion resulted in the decision that major changes must be approved in advance by the board.

Private patios are to be landscaped by the homeowners unless it is visible to the street.

Carport planters were discussed. It was proposed that the association would clear out old material if the homeowner wished to re‑landscape that area before the next phase. Contact Lynn Knode (277‑9501) if you need gardening work done or if the sprinklers in your planter are not working.

2.       Owners can purchase paint at a discount at Dunn‑Edwards (8th St & Camelback) by mentioning 747 EBHRA. The standard colors are: cream ‑ code CHW ‑ 201A (C‑Y 24, L‑20, G‑12) Trim color brown ‑ Universal Mahogany acrylic. The board plans to make paint available for large painting jobs in the near future. Details will be forthcoming.

3.     Two homes with foundation water leaks are to be repaired by Sunvek Co.

4.       Cathedral window frames and inoperable post lamps will be inspected and

repaired if necessary by Kazmarek Co.

5.        Barking dogs were discussed. If you have a dog, please do not leave then

in the patio areas to disturb your neighbors.

6.      An increase in dues was discussed. It has been 3 years since we had an

increase in homeowner’s dues. Inflation has taken its toll and there is a

likely possibility that we will have to increase dues next year.

7.     The board is working to provide further discount services for homeowners.

We hope, in the future, to be able to offer air conditioning and heating

service, nursery products, handyman services and possibly plumbing services.

Again, we thank you for your patience during our landscaping renovation. We would appreciate a little more care on the part of drivers who have been running into the flowerbeds and over sprinkler heads.
