Summary of Minutes for meeting held

November 21, 1989

 

1. Landscape plan.

 

Curbing work is completed. Preparations are being made to install some plant material. Final planting will take place this Spring. The Woodworths (# 5835) experienced some minor sprinkler problems as a result of the curbing work. Hoe Down Landscaping will check water line connections to eliminate these problems.

 

2. Capital Improvements.

 

The Homeowners Association is developing a 5‑year capital improvement plan which will be presented at a future general homeowners meeting. Items under consideration are building painting, garage door replacement, replacement of common area wood fences, etc.

 

These plans will be financed by increased monthly association dues. Association dues will be $100.00 per month beginning January 1, 1990.

 

3. Cable Television.

 

Nat Mara has researched and presented information regarding the installation of cable TV into the complex. The cost to the Homeowners Association will be $3,230.00 which will install the basic "ring" throughout the subdivision. Additional expenses would be incurred to each unit choosing to install the cable.

 

This proposal will be considered as part of the 5‑year capital improvement plan, providing that a majority of homeowners show an interest.

 

4. Chimney sweeping.

 

Chimney sweeping service is available for $30.00 per unit. This price is available only if  10 residents choose to use this service. After January 1, 1990 the price will increase to $45.00 per unit. If you are interested, call Lynn Knode at 277‑9501.

 

5. Garage Doors.

      Those who have garage doors should know that it is recommended that the

      mechanism be lubricated with a suitable grease. Lubriplate is one of

      these and can be purchased at most hardware stores.
