The Cable installation ballot was tallied and found to be approved by a vote of 22 for, 9 against and 7 abstaining. The amendment to the CC&R’s was previously approved by a vote of 22 for, 5 against and 11 abstaining. The $110 assessment is due before February 10, 1992. To avoid late charges and to prevent any possible increases in cable installation costs, because there is a time limit on Dimension Cable’s bid. Please mail I your checks immediately. Do not combine this assessment with your association dues. Please make a separate check for $110.
The Annual Meeting to elect Board Members will be held Sunday January 12, 1992 at Marie’s (5824) at 7:00 P.M..
Chimney fires due to unclean chimneys are very common and very dangerous. Lynn Knode is trying to get a quantity discount with a chimney sweep but he needs to know who is interested by December 29, 1991. If you are interested call Lynn at 277-9501.
Luminarias have been purchased for the three days before Christmas. If any of you can help with the distribution or lighting come to Walt’s (5823) on Sunday December 22, 1991 or call him at 266 5581. We will meet at 11:00 A.M. to distribute them.

Moen faucets were the original equipment when the town homes were built. If one of these faucets leak there is an inexpensive way to replace the cartridges. First turn off the water to the fixture. Next take the metal or plastic cover off the center of the faucet. Remove the center screw and pull off the copper washer. Removal of the cartridge requires a plastic or metal turning tool. To get the tool go to Home Depot and get a plastic replacement cartridge for $12.50, it comes with the plastic turning tool. You now have a tool to remove sink and tub cartridges, except for the kitchen sink. Take the rubber washers off the cartridge and take them to the True Value hardware store on 16th street and Bethany. Buy enough for all your faucets, about $1.25. You now save $11.00 per faucet in washer replacement. Reinstall washers on old cartridges and reassemble.
