Minutes
for Board meeting held on May 19, 1992.
Attending
were: Walt Fedourich, Cleo Crimmins, Suzanne Bracker and Marie Martel.
Financial
report was given and the only unusual expense for the month was the detection
and repair of a water leak under the street.
Since
Paul Phillips was absent, no cable TV report was made.
The
Board has contacted our former attorney, Charles Maxwell, and has received a
fee schedule. It was decided to retain him again as our legal counsel.
The
shade roof in the pool area will be repaired or replaced to retain the same
appearance as it has always had. Walt will get estimates.
The
East wall will be patched by the block layers when they are here to work on the
building now under restoration. It will then be painted. It is hoped that it
will last until after all the buildings are finished, then it will be replaced.
Two
carport ceilings were repaired and one replaced in the building being painted.
Landscaping
was discussed. It was decided that we should concentrate on our 5 Year
Improvement Plan and limit landscaping changes to maintenance at this time. The
Board would like to thank the following residents for their help in planting
new flowers in the complex: Linda White, David Cronin, Agnes Woodworth, Jan
Ehn, Suzanne Bracker and Walt Fedourich.
Palm
trees will very soon be trimmed. If you have palms inside your patio area, you
are responsible for having them trimmed. Someone will contact you before the trimmers
arrive to offer you their services at our discounted rate.
New
padlocks will be purchased and placed on the doors in the pool area.
Many
residents have complained about cats digging in patio areas. If you have a cat,
would you please supply a litter box at home for it? And to those who have had
problems, it has been suggested that placing mothballs around does work to
repel cats.
Shawn
Bartlett (5808) still has roof tiles for sale.
There
will be a GENERAL
MEETING ON SUNDAY, JUNE 14 AT 7 P.M.,
POOLSIDE. Please
put the date on your calendar and plan to attend.
The
next Board meeting will be on June 23rd.
