P.O. Box 7359
Phoenix, AZ 85011
Minutes
of Board of Directors meeting on August 31, 1993 ... Attending were Walt
Fedourich, Paul Phillips, Cleo Crimmins, Terry Roberg, Marie Martel and Sherry
Mara.
Treasurer's
report was given. All owners are up to date with dues except one. The suit
against 5826 which we filed in small claims court was settled for $1200. after
summons was served. The only unusual expense for the month was $150. for
sprinkler repairs. Another area of concern is the skyrocketing water bills. We
ask again for all residents to try to conserve water wherever possible.
Cable
TV installations were discussed again. Paul Phillips has been in contact with
Dimension Cable people and they have agreed to correct some of the poor
installations they have made. Paul will monitor all new installations. Please
notify Paul if you are contracting a new cable hookup (279‑5287).
Painting
has been completed on the building west of the entry drive and new gates are
installed. The next (and last building, east of the entry drive will next be
upgraded and painted. Bids are being obtained for block wall work, gates and
painting. Paul will contact next. door neighbors to request that they share
cost of painting the outside west wall of the complex.
Outdoor
lamps (3) are in need of repair. Paul will contact electrician to correct
problems.
Landscaping
was discussed again. The gardener has been put on notice and will go on a month
to month basis to see if he satisfies our concerns. A monthly walk‑through
with him was approved to keep on top of things.
A
dead tree along the east wall will be removed. A letter requesting the removal
of a dead tree in the patio area of 5834 will be sent.
The
discussion of fines for rules infractions was again addressed. Next month, a
preliminary draft of infractions, fines and methods of enforcement will be
compiled.
Meeting
adjourned at 8:50 p.m. Next Board meeting will be on Sept. 21.
Because
of the very high water bills we are experiencing, the Board requests that all
residents promptly report any malfunctions they may notice in the sprinkler
system. Call Walt Fedourich at 266‑558 1.
