747 East Bethany Home Road Association

P.O. Box 7359 Phoenix, AZ 85011

Minutes for Board meeting on June 30, 1993. Attending were: Cleo Crimmins, Terry Roberg, Paul Phillips, Suzanne Bracker, Marie Martel, Walt Fedourich and Sherry Mara.

Treasurer's report was given. Unusual expenses for June were gates for building under renovation, wall repairs for 5811 (termite damage) and semi-annual insurance premium. The Board is still pursuing collection of past dues on 5826.

Cable TV installations were discussed. There have been several unsatisfactory installations (cosmetically) recently. The Board has decided that ALL installations by Dimension Cable MUST be approved before completion of the job. Call Paul Phillips for that approval (279-5287).

Bids for painting the front building are being obtained. We also will take bids for the repair and repainting of four carport ceilings. All bids will be reviewed and approved by the entire Board.

The Association wishes to thank Jan Ehn for sealing the wood on new gates. Also, we all thank Jan Ehn, David Cronin and Walt Fedourich for their hard work at scrubbing the tile in the pool.

Recent events have necessitated our reminding all owners and residents that NO improvements that affect the exterior appearance or construction of the building may be made without PRIOR approval of the Board. This is covered in detail in the C C & Rs. So remember, any additions, alterations or enhancements you plan to make must FIRST be submitted to the Board in writing and be approved before you begin work.

Awnings have again been requested. A new color selection to complement our new paint colors will soon be forthcoming. Suzanne Bracker will get samples.

Complaints were registered against the gardener's work of late. It was decided that there would be a Board walk-around to assess the situation to be followed by a formal walk-around with the gardener within 3 weeks to address specific areas of dissatisfaction.

The trash removal company wishes to inform all residents in the complex that they will only pick up garden trimmings, limbs, palm fronds, etc. if they are cut up and bagged or bundled in 4 foot maximum lengths with a maximum of 2 feet diameter. Any large appliance (ie: water heaters, dishwashers) will only be picked up if you call customer service and arrange for the pick up. Their number is 243-1271.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m. Next Board meeting will be on July 27.

ATTENTION, EVERYONE!

We would like all residents and their families and guests to enjoy our pool, however it has become problematical lately when some adults allow children to swim in the pool without supervision.

All children under 16 years of age MUST be accompanied by an adult when in the pool area. This safety rule must be obeyed.
