747 East Bethany Home Road Association
Minutes for Board Meeting of September 17,
1998
Attendees: Rosie O'Meara, Marie Martel, Mike Smith, Rosa Lee and
Don Simmons, Marcel Pincince, David Cronin, Jan Ehn, Walt Fedourich and Paul
Phillips.
1.
Paddock Pools has replaced the filtering system in the pool.
2.
Walt Fedourich reported that US West is still behind on its commitments, so our
road sealing project still
does
not have a planned date.
2.
Wall repairs at 5833 are completed.
Painting to be done soon, as weather cools. Rosie will be in contact with the owner regarding splitting the
costs of wall repairs.
3.
Tree trimming near 5830 has been accomplished.
4.
Post light replacements are in progress.
Mike Smith reported that there are three down - fourteen
to
go. The consensus has been that they
look great.
Discussion
was held about the possibility of selling off the old fixtures. Rosie will inquire around and if all else
fails, run an ad in the Pennysaver newspaper.
5.
Illegal parking is AGAIN a problem.
Please observe the NO PARKING - FIRE LANE signs. Since this is a safety concern for ALL
residents, the Board will begin enforcing the Fine Program already
established. You should be receiving a
copy of this procedure very soon as a reminder. As soon as our road sealing is done, we will be painting fire
lanes on the curbs/roadways. At that
point, the Fire Department will issue tickets and will tow away vehicles parked
in the fire lanes. This can be a very
expensive experience. So, PLEASE,
everyone, make sure you and/or your guests observe the fire lanes!
6.
Walt reported a water leak near the pool area.
Since it appears to be under the road, we may have
to
have a professional leak finder locate the problem. Rosie will follow through.
7.
A complaint was aired about the "For Sale" signs going up along the
front entrance. According to
the
CC&RS, only ONE sign is permitted per unit. Since we now have three units for sale, we have put up our
generic sign "Condominium for Sale" and the other signs out front
will be removed.
8.
A request for more detailed minutes was made.
If you need more information than is reported or if you have any other
concerns, please call Rosie O'Meara (277-7434). She will be happy to get information for you or hear your
concerns.
REMINDER
Safety is a primary concern. If an emergency vehicle cannot enter this
complex
because someone is parking in the fire
lane, dire consequences could occur.
Do not be responsible for such an
eventuality.
The next Board meeting will
be on Thursday, October 15 at 7 p.m. at the pool.
