Minutes for Board Meeting on August 19, 1999

 

1. Fire lane painting has been completed. NO VEHICLES ARE PERMITTED TO PARK BETWEEN THE RED LINES.  A fire lane parking violation was reported at 5828. Rosie O’Meara has talked to the parties involved and we hope the problem has been resolved.

 

2. An underground leak in the water system has been reported in front of 5823. Ashford plumbing has been hired to

repair

 

3. A Treasurer’s report was presented. There are several dues delinquencies. Rosie O’Meara will contact those owners to arrange payment. Remember, monthly dues are due the 1st or each month and delinquent after the tenth of the month, after which they are subject to a late charge.  It is each owner’s responsibility to pay dues on time. There are no invoices sent.

 

4. Landscaping contractor. has given notice that they will resign our account as of September 1st .

Mike O’Meara has offered to resume his job as landscaping contractor for $800 a month. The Board approved this proposal.

 

5. Our web site at doahouse.com/747 is now in operation.. The site is password protected, SO You must call Mike Smith (234-1804) in advance for logon parameters.

 

6. Walt Fedourich proposed that the Association replace the entire sprinkler system. The suggestion was deemed a valid need, but we are committed financially to finish the pool decking this fall. We cannot afford both projects at this time, so the matter has been set aside.

 

7. Lynn Knode has offered the names and phone numbers of a reputable handyman and plumber who can be called for small repairs. See below:
