Minutes for Board Meeting on December 16,1999

Attendees: Rosie O'Meara, Marie Martel, David Cronin, Mike Smith, Agnes Woodworth and Rosa Lee Simmons.

1. Revision of the C C & Rs is in progress. The Board passed a recommendation to remove the requirement for an annual audit from the By-Laws, providing the attorneys agree. Our bookkeeping is a simple in-and-out procedure and this seems an unnecessary expense. If, at any time, it is felt that an audit is needed, the Board can order it made. We expect that the revised documents will be available for review early in the new year.

2. Nancy Monaco and Don Simmons have prepared some drawings for the proposed widening of the Bethany Home driveway and Don will be taking them to the City Planner.

3. Extensive landscape trimming has been done and weed control is being addressed. There has been a complaint submitted regarding the desert plants put in near 5818. The Board has elected to use low-maintenance, low-water usage plants in newly planted areas. If you have comments please send them to the Board.

4. Financial reports were presented. We have a few owners late-paying dues. Please remember to have your dues in by the 10th to avoid the late charges.

5. Luminaries were approved again for Christmas eve and Christmas day.

6. The pool filler problem is still not satisfactorily resolved. Rosie will contact Shasta Pools

again. Mike Smith and David Cronin will meet with the representative.

ANNUALMEETING

Everyone is encouraged to attend the Annual Meeting

and Election of a New Board for 2000.

It will be held on Sunday, January 16th at the pool.

There will be a weiner roast and social at 1 p.m.

followed by the Annual Meeting.

It's a great chance to meet your neighbors. Plan to attend.
