Minutes for Board Meeting on June 17, 1999

Attendees:                Rosie O'Meara, Marie Martel, David Cronin, Rosa Lee and Don Simmons, Mike Smith, Stefani Wallen and Betty Kizer.

 

1. Palm tree trimming has been completed.  Affected owners, who have palm inside their patios, will he billed for their portion of the job.

 

2. A short developed in the pool pump.  It has now been repaired and the "eyes" have been repositioned for better circulation.

 

3. Fire lane painting is behind schedule.  Now we are waiting to see who has ordered painted lines on our streets and for what purpose.

 

4. Mike Smith has volunteered to paint the section of wall that was replaced near 5833.  He will also look into the possibility of having the front curb widened at the entrance.

 

5. A Treasurer's report was presented.  We are presently in a minus position to our budget.  This was caused by the large outlay for pool resurfacing.  We should be back in a plus position within a Couple of months.

 

6. It was suggested that the sprinklers be turned on twice daily and for longer durations now that hot weather has arrived.

 

7. Cox Cable construction and installations to be investigated by Paul Phillips.

 

8. Justin Maze (5834) requested permission to raise the height of his wall from 5 feet to 12 feet.  The

request was unanimously declined.  He also complained about a air conditioner noise.  Mike Smith will talk to him about installing dual pane windows.

 

 

IMPORTANT REMINDER

Homeowner dues are due on the first of the month and

are OVERDUE after the tenth, at which time a $10. late charge is assessed.

Payment of these dues is each owner's responsibility.

No invoices are sent.
