Minutes for Board Meeting on October 21, 1999

Attendees: John Bonar, Rosie O'Meara, Marie Martel, David Cronin, Mike Smith, Rosa Lee Simmons. Walt Fedourich and Nancy Monaco.

1. Revision of the C C & Rs is still pending. Suggestions should now be given to either Rosie O'Meara (5814) or Mike Smith (5817). They will be reviewing suggested changes and integrating them into a document to be taken to an attorney for final draft. After that is completed, every homeowner will receive a copy and a vote will be taken for amendment.

2. Rosie O'Meara will meet with Shasta Pools on October 29, 1999 to discuss the final phase of the pool upgrade ... the new decking. It is tentatively planned to begin this project the first week in November.

3. The problem tree at 5812 is now being stripped in preparation for removal. Thanks to Mike Smith and Dave Cronin for their work on this task. Cut wood is available, free to residents, near the lamp adjacent to 5814’s carport.

4. Nancy Monaco has volunteered to investigate the widening of the curbing at the Bethany

Home entrance. It is difficult to make a sharp right hand turn into the complex because the drive in opening is too narrow and does not line up with our driveway.

5. Walt Fedourich presented a petition to hold a "Garage Sale" at the back entrance on Palo Verde. It was approved by the Board and will be held on Saturday, November 6 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Anyone who has items for sale should bring them to the back entrance on that morning and plan to attend to their own sales. It's a good opportunity to clean out before the holidays!

6. Agnes Woodworth (5835) has sold her cabin and now has a 5.4 cubic toot freezer for sale for $ 100. If you are interested or desire more information, call Agnes at 279-7785.

HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION

A site to accept hazardous waste like oil, paint, batteries, antifreeze, etc.

will be open on November 4-6 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at

North Phoenix Baptist Church, Central Avenue & Bethany Home Road.
