Board Minutes-February 27,1996
The meeting began at 7:00 with the four Board members present. The minutes and treasurer's report were given and approved.
Old Business:
· Paul submitted a plan to have existing complex lights repaired and to replace the old yellow glass with new opaque glass which was unanimously approved. Also it was decided to increase the wattage of the pedestal lamp bulbs to 100 watts.
The no outlet sign and townhouse for sale sign will be installed in the near future.
The 1996 budget was discussed and approved.
New Business:
· Paul will get estimates to repaint rear fence.
· The board renewed its membership to Community Associations Institute at a cost of $100.00. The institute is an invaluable source of information that is needed in running an association.
· Our hazard insurance does not supply all your insurance needs and should be supplemented with your own condo policy. To find out if your policy completely supplements the association blanket policy you might want to have your insurance carrier contact Susie Streepy of American Family Insurance(our hazard policy carrier) at 922-4930. You would be surprised at the number of homeowners lately who have found themselves uninsured for damages from things such as plumbing that has burst or seeped and air conditioning condensation drain pipes that have plugged and cracked and have caused damage to the interior of the condo.
