Annual Meeting Minutes-January 21,1996

Although many had their thoughts on preparing for Super Bowl XXX there was a wonderful turnout of 16 Association homeowners. The December board meeting minutes were reviewed and approved. Terry then passed out the treasurer's report and brought everyone up to date on the financial condition of the Association. The following are other issues that were discussed: * Parking in the firelane- It was agreed that a duplicate ticket will be issued at the time of infraction.. one on the vehicle and one copy to be kept in association reecords. Illegal parking is truly a safety matter that can effect us all and it is against our CC&R's and the law. *In our ongoing attempt to keep the complex as attractive as possible, Paul, Robin, Walt and Jan will head up the landscaping committee. *There is an ongoing legitimate concern on the overall safety of the complex and to that end Christy(5818),and Robin and Roger (5813) will head up a committee to explore ways to make our complex safer. Please contact them with any ideas or if you would like to help in any way. Also with that in mind Paul will get estimates for a no outlet or dead end sign to put at the front of the complex. PLEASE remember to lock the rear gate when exiting the complex on to Palo Verde. THANKS *Replacement of lamps was tabled due to the fact that the contractors have not replied with bids as of yet. In the interim Paul will get bids on repairing the old lamps and possibly changing the color of the glass in the lamps.In the meantime if your garage light is on a switch, please turn the light on for safety's sake. *It was decided that there should be a "Townhouse for sale" sign put up on Bethany Home to replace the old sign. It was further decided to only hang the sign only when there is a home for sale to further cut down on traffic in the complex. * Pest control .. If you want your condo sprayed inside Ambassador Pest Control will do it on the third saturday of every month, for $7.00, while they are spraying the common area. If this interests you call Ed Woodward at 245-5220. * business to be discussed at the next board meeting..Reserve study and 96 budget *Finally, nominations for next year board members where opened. The new board members are: 1) President-Walt Fedourich, Unit #5823-(266-5581) 2) Vice President-John Bonar, Unit#5812-(264-1070) 3) Treasurer-Terry Roberg, Unit #5809-(265-6246) 4) Secretary-Position still available.....Any volunteers? 5) Member at Large-Robin Shearer, Unit #5813-(264-9681) 6) Member at Large-Paul Phillips,Unit#5811-(279-5287) Special thanks to last years Board members for the time consuming work that can be involved with their Board responsibilities. And a very very very special thanks to Luke Kjolhede our retiring secretary, who is moving. I know everyone will miss him dearly. volunteers?
