Board Minutes-July 2, 1996

The Board meeting was attended by four members.. The minutes were read and approved and the Treasurer's report was given.



· Roadway slurry sealing.... Sorry for any inconvenience due to last weeks false alarm. When the contractor arrived to do the slurry seal last week as APS had scheduled, the contractor noticed that the last time our roadway was sealed it was with cold tar emulsion. Luckily he noticed this because slurry seal( an asphalt product) will not stick to cold tar emulsion. The contractor is going to give us an estimate on doing some minor patching and leveling prior to approaching APS again to get approval for a cold tar seal. · All the lamps have been fixed except for one at the pool which will hopefully be fixed in July. · Five carports still have not been fixed while waiting on additional estimates · Reserve study still on hold awaiting quantifying a replacement cost for roadways and underground utility pipes. · Parking in the roadways is starting again. We really do not want to start policing the complex and passing out parking tickets and fine letters again, especially in this heat. So PLEASE stop parking in the roadways....it is in violation of the CC and R's and the Phoenix fire code

Several people have moved into the complex within the last two months. Please call Walt at 266-5581 and give him your phone number so that the board can have it in case of emergency

· Thanks to John for installing new signs and a new life preserver in the pool area. · The board would like to know if any one would like to organize get togethers such as welcoming new neighbors or just plain old neighbor get togethers . If any one has any interest call Terrie at 265-6246. .
