747 East Bethany Home Road Association

Board Minutes-November 21, 1995

The meeting began at 7:30 with the Walt, Terry and Luke being present. The minutes and treasurer's report were given and approved.

Old Business:

· Jeanette and Ghazwan (#5806) joined us with their sketch and proposal for the replacement of an exterior upstairs door. The Board approved. Other questions and concerns they presented were addressed by the Board. · As some of you are aware, fine letters have been sent for CC&R infractions. Most owners have responded by rectifying the problems. Thanks from the Board to all that didn't receive letters. Rules are made for everyone and need to be complied with. Special thanks to Ken Roberg who willingly took over the responsibility of fine letter appropriation and follow-up. Walt and John will be doing a thorough walk through to insure that there are no other infractions. · The downspouts project is nearly completed. Hopefully this will eliminate a wet garage for the involved units. · If you haven't notice, the plant life in the complex looks great. Special thanks to John, Walt and Robin for the planning and planting of flowers and shrubs. · New "no parking" signs has also been installed thanks to the Tool Time Guys (Walt and Luke).

New Business:

· The annual contracts for the complex's insurance and garbage collection are coming due again. The Board moved to renew both contractual agreements for another year. · Terry passed out last years budget for the Boards review. She requested that the members make suggestions at next month's meeting for a "96 budget. If anyone has any matter that might be considered for next year, please contact a Board member prior to the next meeting. · Even with all the measures we have taken this year to make our environment more secure, there was a recent break-in at one of our units. We should all know our neighbors. It should be our own responsibility to watch out for neighbors as you would want them to watch out for you and your property. If you see something that doesn't look right, please call the police. No one will ever complain about having to explain to the police, "it's OK, only a friend of mine." As a side note-if you have jewelry of value, make sure your homeowner's policy has a rider covering the correct amount. Most policies have only a $500.00 maximum jewelry limit. · Looking for a few good folks to help light the luminaries shortly before Christmas. Please contact Walt or Jan. Your help will be appreciated.

The next meeting is scheduled for December 19. Ho! Ho! Ho!
