Board Minutes-October 24, 1995

The meeting began at 7:30 with the full Board membership present. The minutes and treasurer's report were given and approved.

Old Business:

· Three different fire lane signs where presented and the Board chose and approved the new signage. Installation will soon be complete. · Terri now has new pool/backgate keys if anyone should need a replacement. · The downspouts have now been built and primed. The installation should be taking place very soon. · The trees, as requested, have been removed. There possible replacement will be delayed until spring when the monies can be appropriately budgeted. · The replacement of the exterior garage lights and lamps will be delayed until the annual meeting, at which time the membership will vote on the styles. In the interim, John will solicit bids for the installation. · The purchase of a "Reserve Study" program for $199.00 was approved. Progress continues.

New Business:

· Money for the holiday luminaries was approved by the Board. · The landscaping committee recommended that the front flower beds be planted with perennial flowering hedge with small areas of seasonal flowers. This will still give us the color we desire yet involve much less work and expense. FYI-John Bonar has not been designated our full time landscaper, although he's worked endless hours repairing sprinklers and landscaping around the complex. Special thanks for all your hard work. Note: Please make an effort to keep children and dogs out of the flower beds. The sprinkler system is very shallow and is easily damaged and the fragility of the plants should be self evident. · The board also approved the Architectural Committee's recommendation that, when re-roofing, using 1X6 stock lumber (instead of the impossible to find decorative trim) for the drip molding and roof trim is appropriate. When doing a re-roofing project, please contact the Board for clarification.



Note: The reason for installing the lock on the back gate was for the complex's security. If left unlocked, it serves no purpose. Please when entering or leaving, lock it up. Thank you from everyone.
