747 East Bethany Home Road Association

Board Minutes-September 26, 1995

Yes, there is still a functional Board for 747 EBHRA. Because of certain circumstances and events, the monthly Board meeting was finally held with a full quorum of members were in attendance and Paul Phillips made a guest appearance. The minutes and treasurer's report were given and approved.

Old Business:

· The new wrought iron fence on the North end of the complex is in need of painting. It was decided to have a "paint party" to be scheduled sometime in Oct./Nov. We'll keep you posted as to when, so get out the paint clothes. · The signage for marking the no parking firelanes is approximately $7.00 per sign and about $4.00 per post. Discussion as to whether to put the signs on the wall as opposed to along the curb took place. Also it was decided to also put a "Do Not Enter" on the back West wall as it is in the front. Luke will bring in options for the actual signs at the next meeting. · John has again been in contact with APS regarding the resurfacing of the roadway. Since they are in the process of re-surfacing 7th Street, it will be more feasible and economical for them to re-surface ours at the same time. This is where we are at this point. · Robin continues to gather information concerning the Reserve Study. Decisions will need to be made when all the data is gathered. · There is a need to replace the existing light fixtures on the exteriors of the garages and possibly the free standing units. We are asking the you, the members, for your input on the styles you would prefer. Please submit to any Board member prior or at next month's meeting. · John presented several bids for installing downspouts on identified units. The Board passed the motion to use R & S construction's bid of $1439.00 to install primed downspouts and extensions as was asked for in our request.

New Business:

· It was requested to have the tree in front of #5810 removed. The landscape committee will do a complex walk-thru and determine if there are any other seasonal needs.

· Terry is having more duplicate pool/back gate keys made should anyone have the need for one. · Unit #5806's owner requested permission to replace the upstairs exterior door. This was approved pending the Board be shown a picture or description of the door, insuring it is in compliance.

NOTE: It is illegal to place any hazardous material in the trash. Our garbage collector will not pick it up. The city generally has a semi-annual pick up or collection sites for such materials as tires, batteries, and old paint.

The next meeting is scheduled for October 24-7:30 p.m.
