Board Minutes-September 4, 1996

The Board meeting was attended by four members.. The minutes were read and approved and the Treasurer's report was given.



· Roadway slurry sealing.......approved a proposal to patch and crackfill along with a cold tar emulsion sealer with sand......scheduled sealing date will be announced soon. · Cats claw and other vines that grow without a trellis by attaching itself to apartment walls was discussed. It was resolved that these type of vines are very detrimental to stucco walls and are not allowed on any buildings. If you have any such vines please remove the vine immediately.. · Five carports still have not been fixed while waiting on additional estimates · Reserve study still on hold awaiting quantifying a replacement cost for roadways and underground utility pipes. A few engineering firms have been contacted to give estimates on quantifying these amounts. · Items tabled.......missing roof tiles...wood trim · Parking in the roadways is starting again. We really do not want to start policing the complex and passing out parking tickets and fine letters again, especially in this heat. So PLEASE stop parking in the roadways....it is in violation of the CC and R's and the Phoenix fire code. · Approved......shortening and thinning of eucalyptus tree on south lawn. · Welcoming committee..two volunteers so far....we need one more person. Call Terrie at 265-6246 and get involved. · Mike O Meara is available for landscaping and handyman jobs. If you need someone like this you can reach Mike at 265-8005. Also Paul Phillips always has handyman referrals....279-5287. · Concern was raised over the quality and quantity of the landscapers'work in the common areas (Mike Dalton dba Landcare Group). Paul will see if the problem can be rectified during the coming month. · Congrats to newlyweds Sherry and Seymour and welcome to new homeowner Stefani. · Next board meeting....October 2,1996 at 7:00 P.M.
